By August 9th, at 18:25, 18:25, it was preliminarily verified that 19 people were killed and 263 were injured in the Jiuzhaigou earthquake. 10 of the injured were seriously injured (3 seriously injured) and 253 were lightly injured. By August 9th, 05:30, there wre 8 travel agencies and 1766 tourists in Jiuzhaigou. It is understood that 1766 tourists, of whom the heavier injury in the county needs to do surgery, there are more than 10 people were slightly injured, other people are safe, tourists are accompanied by tour guides. As of August 9, after the investigation, Jiuzhaigou county 17 township houses were damaged by different degrees due to earthquakes,of which the general damage was 1037, moderate damage was 420, severe damage was 223 households. According to statistics, the earthquake occurred less than 24 hours, Jiuzhaigou has transferred more than 8,000 traveling vehicles; as of 9:30 on the 9th, the earthquake has been safely transferred nearly 60,000 tourists and migrant workers. Reporters learned from the China Earthquake Administration, as of August 8th at 22:30, the earthquake zone in Jiuzhaigou has recorded 107 earthquakes. China Earthquake Network Center and the Sichuan Seismological Bureau and other units of the experts, after the emergency consultation, believed that in recent days there are still about 6 aftershocks may occur. As of 9:20 on August 9th, the Sichuan fire force,a total of 45 vehicles, 357 people,and 8 search dogs arrived in the disaster area to participate in the rescue.
