Drought is not a disastrous weather, but an important meteorological disaster, which is caused by the long-term lack of rainfall. Drought is also divided into meteorological droughts, agricultural droughts and hydrologic droughts, with each having complex definitions. Agriculture drought and animal husbandry drought are different, and each crop has different drought indicators.
Agricultural meteorological disasters, and ecological meteorological disasters (such as desertification mentioned above) are also meteorological disasters, but not catastrophic weathers. And it is the same with avalanche, and sea level rise.
In a word, we refer to disasters that can directly cause loss of life and human social property due to meteorological conditions as narrow-scale meteorological disasters. They are primary disasters. Disastrous weathers are not all meteorological disasters; equally some meteorological disasters are not disastrous weathers. So they are different, and it is necessary to clarify them.
