The dataset is historical natural disasters in Myanmar, covering detailed data on various natural and technological disasters that occurred in Myanmar from 2000 to 2025. The data is sourced from EM-DAT (the Emergency Events Database), provided by CRED (the Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters) and UCLouvain (Université Catholique de Louvain). The file documents 87 disaster events, including floods, earthquakes, landslides, storms, slope failures, industrial accidents, etc., and provides detailed information on the type of disaster, time of occurrence, location, affected areas, casualties, and economic losses for each event.
