Abstract:

In the era of big data, massive digital footprint data from crowd sources provide valuable observational data for studying the spatiotemporal characteristics and patterns of human activities. This report introduces how to use human’s digital footprint datasets to understand the collective responses to urban disasters from three aspects: the rhythm, pattern and perception, and its application value in disaster monitoring, disaster damage assessment and resilience quantification.
