Surface water data set of southern Turkey and northern Syria(2021)

This dataset contains maps of the location and temporal distribution of surface water from 2021 and provides statistics on the extent and change of those water surfaces in southern Turkey and northern Syria, including ocean, large lake/river, major river,canal and small stream. This dataset provides information concerning the intra-annual behaviour of water surfaces for a single year (2021) and shows permanent and seasonal water and the number of months water was present.Its main purpose is to see how water distribution varies over the year for a particular place.This data set can provide researchers with the location and distribution of surface water in Tuekey and Syria.
