Introduction
The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) is a member of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It is responsible for collecting and providing daily observations and studies of natural phenomena in meteorological, hydrological, earthquake and volcanoes, as well as other related scientific fields. The agency is headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo.
