Introduction
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations was born in 1994 and belongs to the Federal Executive Authority. It is the core of an organization that handles emergencies in Russia. Its main task is to formulate and implement national policies on civil defense and response to emergencies and to implement a series of preventive and Disaster mitigation measures and humanitarian aid to affected areas at home and abroad.
