Introduction
The Icelandic Meteorological Office is responsible for the National Meteorological Service in Iceland. The agency participates in international weather and air warning systems, such as the London ash Advisory Centre, the Iceland air marine regional control centre and the European extreme weather warning system Meteoalarm.
