A 7.8-magnitude earthquake occurred in Turkey at 4:17 local time on February 6, 2023 (Beijing time 09:17 on February 06, 2023), with a focal depth of 20 kilometers. The epicenter was located at 37.15 degrees north latitude and 36.95 degrees east longitude. The average altitude is about 1,001 meters within 5 kilometers of the epicenter.
