Work Experience
Ou Jinping was the former vice president of Harbin University of Architecture in 1999. He was the vice president of Harbin Institute of Technology in 2000. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2003. He was the president of Dalian University of Technology (deputy ministerial level) from 2006 to 2012 and was elected in 2011. Chairman of the 7th Council of the China Society of Vibration Engineering.
Achievement
In the aspect of structural dynamic reliability and seismic damage, the basic theory of structural fuzzy random vibration is established, and the dynamic reliability analysis method of structural wind and earthquake resistance is developed. The seismic damage analysis and design method of reinforced concrete structure is proposed. In the aspect of structural vibration control, a variety of structural energy dissipation devices and intelligent control systems have been developed, and analysis and design methods for structural energy dissipation and intelligent control have been established. In the aspect of major engineering structure health monitoring, a variety of structural locality long-term monitoring intelligent sensors have been developed, and a test and demonstration system for structural health monitoring has been established; In the aspect of safety protection technology of offshore platform structure, the theory of marine platform structural safety assessment and maintenance decision-making and large-scale application software system were established, and the platform structure ice vibration control technology was developed. Some of the results have been adopted and applied to a number of practical projects by relevant Chinese norms and regulations; Hosted 24 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Outstanding Youth Fund Project; Published 210 academic papers and published 4 books.
