From June 29th to July 7th, there was a heavy rainfall process from the southwest region to the Jianghuai and Jianghan regions, accompanied by strong convective weather such as lightning, strong winds, and hail. Heavy rainfall has caused floods, wind and hail, landslides and other disasters in Anhui, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan and other provinces (municipalities directly under the central government), resulting in 13.198 million people affected, 52 deaths, 15 missing, and 757000 people urgently relocated and resettled; 47000 collapsed houses, 70000 severely damaged houses, and 176000 generally damaged houses; The affected area of crops is 698.4 dry hectares, of which 36.6 dry hectares have been lost; Direct economic losses amounted to 14.84 billion yuan.
