The online map of epicenter and disaster distribution of earthquake in 2013 in China is sourced from the China Natural Disaster Atlas in 2013 and was published by China Map Publishing House in February 2015. The authors are the Office of the National Disaster Reduction Commission, the Disaster Relief Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the National Disaster Reduction Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The scale of the local map is 1:22000000.

Overall situation of earthquake disasters

In 2013, earthquake disasters caused a total of 5.304 million people in 11 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to be affected, 294 people died, and 1.548 million people were urgently relocated and resettled; 224000 houses collapsed and 3.34 million were damaged to varying degrees; The direct economic loss is 103.77 billion yuan.

In 2013, the main characteristics of earthquake disasters were as follows:
