The basic volcanic map is a topographic map with a scale of 1/5000 or 1/10000 (only the scale of Xiye Island is 1/2500), which shows the contour lines and volcanic disaster prevention facilities that accurately represent the volcanic terrain. Since the 54th year of Zhaohe, 44 volcanoes have been built (December of Linghe in 2004). Because of its precise terrain, it can be used not only for disaster prevention plans and emergency measures during volcanic eruptions, but also as basic materials for volcanic research and prediction of volcanic eruptions.
