This course first introduces the origin of Disaster Risk Reduction Knowledge Service System and its relationship with UNESCO. Secondly, it introduces the DRR knowledge database and online application, as well as two cases of the latest research progress of the Disaster Risk Reduction Knowledge Service System. The first is about using social media to detect public sentiment in the event of disasters, and the second is remote sensing mapping of disaster risks in the Belt and Road region.
