On September 10th local time, Hurricane "Daniel" hit the eastern region of Libya, causing severe flooding. The disaster situation in the Libyan port city of Derna was the most severe, with two dams breaking, resulting in the catastrophic consequences of "a quarter of the cities completely disappearing".
