Director of the Key Laboratory of Mountain Surface Process and Ecological Regulation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the current station director of the Gongga Mountain National Field Station and the director of the Institute of Ecology and Hydrology of the Institute of Mountain Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the winner of the “Hundred Talents Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National “100 Million Talent Project” candidate and the academic and technical leader of Sichuan Province. He is also the director of the China Ecological Society and the director of the Ecohydrology Professional Committee, and the vice chairman of the China Branch of the International Landscape Ecology Society.
