The aim of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey is to develop science, technology and innovation; to support and conduct research and development; and to carry out national institutions to create a leading role in science and technology throughout the country.
The Turkish Council for Science and Technology Research was established in 1963 as an independent public body and managed by the Turkish Scientific Committee.
