The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment was established in November 2002 by an autonomous body established by the Government of Kerala, which primarily encourages and promotes the development of the Kerala State Science and Technology Technology-related activities.
Kerala State Science, Technology and Environment is headquartered in Trivandrum, which has seven R & D centers in the Kerala region. It is responsible for several projects, such as coastal zone management and popular science. It is also responsible for coordinating activities at the national level and commemorative activities of the National Science Day, National Science Day and World Environment Day.
